Reuel Rito N. Seño

- President -

Reuel Rito N. Seño is an Assistant Professor in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Manila teaching Theology and Philosophy subjects. He has been in the academe for more than a decade. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the Philippine Dominican Center of Institutional Studies (PDCIS), Bachelors in Sacred Theology (Ecclesiastical Degree) from the Ecclesisatical Faculty of Theology, University of Santo Tomas; a Master of Arts Degree in Theology (Equivalency) granted by the Commission on Higher Education. He is taking his Doctorate degree in Philosphy at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and is writing a Dissertation Proposal on Thomas Aquinas.He has presented several research papers locally and abroad of which some have been published.  He is also a recollection and retreat facilitator for more than a decade now. His research interests are in the areas of Theology, Religious Education and Philosophy.

Dalmacito A. Cordero, Jr.

Dalmacito Cordero Jr. is an Associate Professor of the Theology and Religious Education Department of De La Salle University. He also taught in University of Sto. Tomas, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Philippine Women’s University, Don Bosco-Makati and Don Bosco-Tarlac. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Our Lady of Peace College Seminary (2001), Master of Arts in Theological Studies, magna cum laude (2009) at San Sebastian College-Recoletos, and Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Theology at De La Salle University (2017). He authored several published journal articles, a textbook in Christian morality, and had presented papers in various academic conferences. His research interests are in the fields of moral theology, sexual ethics, youth studies, and liturgical music.

Dr. Mariel A. Abante

Dr. Mariel A. Abante is a full-time college instructor in Sta. Teresa College. In 2006, she graduated Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at St. Bridget College, Batangas City. She took up Master of Arts in Teaching major in English Language at De La Salle University, Manila in 2010. Presently, she is enrolled in the same university, taking up Doctor of Education major in Religious and Values Education. She is currently writing her dissertation paper entitled, "The State of Catechesis in Vicariate 7 of the Archdiocese of Lipa: Towards a Unified Catechetical Program." In 2015, she presented her research paper entitled "Attitude towards Holy Eucharist" during the 4th National Conference in Catechesis and Religious Education held at the De La Salle University Manila. She has just successfully defended her dissertation entitled “The State of Catechesis in Vicariate 7 of the Archdiocese of Lipa: Towards a Unified Catechetcial Program”.

Jeff Clyde G. Corpuz

Jeff Clyde G. Corpuz is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer of the Theology and Religious Education Department under the College of Liberal Arts at De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines. He is also an adjunct Assistant Professorial Lecturer at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB). His research and teaching interests include culture and religion, local theology, interreligious dialogue and emerging religious attitudes towards the Church.

Philip Joseph D. Sarmiento

Philip Joseph D. Sarmiento is an Assistant Professor of Theology under the Christian Living Education Department, Institute for Christian Formation and Social Integration at Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Philippines. He is an AB Philosophy graduate (Magna Cum Laude) at the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary and MA major in Educational Management graduate (With High Distinction) at Holy Angel University. He is on the process of writing his dissertation for the Doctorate degree in Education major in Religious Education and Values Education at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines.

In terms of research, Prof. Sarmiento has presented research papers to National and International conferences held locally and abroad. He was also able to publish research articles, together with other respectable co-authors, in CHEd Recognized Journal, ISI/Clarivate Analytics and Scopus indexed journals.

Prof. Sarmiento is a founding member of the Institutional Review Board-Review Ethics Committee of Holy Angel University. He is an affiliated member of the Religious Educators Association of the Philippines (REAP), Inc., Values and Religion Educators Association of the Philippines (VREAP), Inc., Philippine Association for the Study of Culture, History and Religion (PASCHR) Inc. and Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE), Inc.

Ronaldo R. Celestial

Ronaldo Roa Celestial was born in Guinobatan Albay, Bicol on August 13, 1967. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Adamson University, in 1988, and a Master of Education in Religious and Values Education (MERVED), in 2000, at De La Salle University (DLSU). He joined DLSU as fulltime faculty member in 2012 after the merger with De La Salle- Canlubang (DLSC) where he has been connected since 2003. For fourteen years in service, he has served in various capacities such as Director of Student Affairs and NSTP Coordinator (DLSC campus) and presently Vice Chair of the Theology and Religious Education Department (DLSU Campus).

Rico C. Jacoba

Rico C. Jacoba, Ph.D., LPT., is a full-time professor at St Louis University Baguio City and concurrently a student of Ph.D. APT at De La Salle University, Manila. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Mary Help of Christian Seminary in 1995, after which he continued his theological studies at Immaculate Conception School of Theology in Vigan City, IS. He started his teaching profession at Saint Louis University, Baguio City in 1996 handling Philosophy, Religious Education, Special Education, both in the undergraduate and graduate programs.  While teaching he also enrolled at the same University where he earned his Master of Arts in Religious Studies under the mentorship of Fr. Lode Wostyn, CICM, he also earned his Master of Arts in Special Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management awarded cum Laude in both degrees.  In 2010 he was invited by The City School International as a consultant in curriculum development and school curriculum inspection. As a curriculum inspector, he was given the opportunity to travel to different countries all over Asia. From 2005 up to present he was a consultant at St. Paul Sped Center, Baguio particularly on teaching kids with special needs.  He was a co-founder of Plus One Intervention Center an assessment and intervention center for kids with special needs. His research interests are on Inclusive Language, Special Education, Pastoral Communication, and Biblical Hermeneutics.

Arleen C. Bueno

Arleen C. Bueno holds a masteral degree in Religious Education from Mother of Life Center.  She finished the Certificate in Theological Studies at Divine Word Seminary and Certificate in Mission Studies at Divine Word Institute in Mission Studies, Tagaytay.  She also completed Coaching Essentials Course & Faith Amplified Formation Series. She has been serving the Catholic Church as a catechist (since 1993); trainor of volunteer catechist; recollection, retreat, leadership training and youth encounter facilitator; campus minister; homeroom team leader; author of religious education textbooks; and Basic Education Religious Educator. Her research interests are: New Space of Mission in the City, Formator’s Response to Maxim Illud, Media Literacy Education & the Youth; Family Life and Religious Education; Faith Response of Children and Youth; School's Response to the Call of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si.

Sherma P. Repol

Sherma P. Repol is a full-time college instructor of St. Scholastica’s College Tacloban.  She finished Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the University of the Philippines Tacloban College in 1994.   Her desire to grow in the faith she was born into is what compelled her to pursue and finish an MA in Religious Education from the University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao City, in 2013. This was made possible through the scholarship program offered by the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary.  She finds happiness in being inside the classroom and has been teaching Religious Education for the past fifteen (15) years in the school she is currently connected with.  For three years, 2014-2017, she was assigned as the campus minister of the institution.  She enjoys interacting with the young and facilitating retreats and recollections.
