Reuel Rito N. Seño

- President -

Sir Reuel is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer in De La Salle University teaching Theology and Religious Education subjects since 2014. He has been in the academe for more than a decade. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the Philippine Dominican Center of Institutional Studies (PDCIS), Bachelors in Sacred Theology (Ecclesiastical Degree) from the Ecclesiastical Faculty of Theology, University of Santo Tomas; a Master of Arts Degree in Theology (Equivalency) granted by the Commission on Higher Education. He is taking his Doctorate degree in Philosophy at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and is writing a Dissertation Proposal on Thomas Aquinas. He has presented several research papers locally and abroad of which some have been published.  He is also a recollection and retreat facilitator for more than a decade now. His research interests are in the areas of Theology, Religious Education and Philosophy.

Dorothy P. Javier-Martinez

Dr. Dothy is currently an Assistant Professor at De La Salle University, Manila teaching Theology and Religious Education Courses. Manila teaching Theology and Religious Education Courses. She finished her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Values Education at Philippine Normal University, cum laude (2003), MA in Religious Education at University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao City (2008), and Doctor of Education major in Religious Education and Values Education at De La Salle University, Manila (2016). For two consecutive years, 2015 and 2016, she received the third-place national award in essay writing from the Commission on the Filipino Language (Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino- KWF) Gawad KWF sa Sanaysay for her essays, “Sa Gitna ng mga Unos at Pagsubok ng Bayang Pilipinas, Nananatiling Susi ng Pambansang Kaunlaran ang Wikang Filipino,” and “Pananahimik at Wikang Filipino: Isang Pagsasakultura ng Pananampalataya.” She is also one of the recipients of the DLSU College of Liberal Arts Research and Advanced Studies and BNSCWC (Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center) Mini-Grants for Creative Writing, sanaysay category in A.Y. 2013-2014. Her research interest involves: inculturated spirituality, values education, silence and Filipino language. She loves creative writing in Filipino, as well as drawing and painting. She serves as liturgical minister both in the campus and in her home parish. She also finds joy in facilitating recollections.

Janet R. Argana

Ms. Janet is the Grade 11 Level Lead and teacher of Christian Life Education at Assumption College, Makati City.  In 2017, she was conferred the Assumption Christian Educator (ACE) Award and the PEACE Award as best Class Adviser in 2008.   She graduated from UST with a degree in Bachelor of Arts major in Economics.  She also received her MA in Oriental Religions and Cultures from the same university.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her thesis entitled “The Concept of Moksha in the Bhagavad Gita”.  She is actively involved in the School of Oriental Religions of the Focolare Movement and has given various lectures on Oriental Religions and Interreligious Dialogue.  Her desire to contribute to and improve the dynamics of teaching religious and values education led her to give several seminars and workshops on classroom strategies in teaching religious and values education to different institutions.   Aiming to earn her degree in Doctor of Education major in Religious and Values Education at De La Salle University, she is now working on her dissertation proposal on Inquiry-Based Learning in Religious Education.

Arlene C. Bueno

Ms. Ayeene holds a masteral degree in Religious Education from the Mother of Life Center. She finished the Certificate in Theological Studies at Divine Word Seminary and Certificate in Mission Studies at Divine Word Institute in Mission Studies, Tagaytay. She also completed Coaching Essentials Course & Faith Amplified Formation Series. She has been serving the Catholic Church as a catechist (since 1993); trainor of volunteer catechist; recollection, retreat, leadership training and youth encounter facilitator; campus minister; homeroom team leader; author of religious education textbooks; and Basic Education Religious Educator. She is currently teaching at St. Paul College of Paranaque. Her research interests are: Media Literacy Education & the Youth; Family Life and Religious Education; Faith Response of SHS students; School's Response to the Call of Pope Francis’ Laudato Si.

Carlota A. Aquino

Dr. Carlota finished her Bachelor of Education major in Major in Religious Education and General Science and Master of Arts in Educational Administration in Columban College Inc.  She finished her Doctor of Education major in Religious and Values Education (DERVED) in De La Salle University. She has been with Columban College for 40 years now and had been teaching Theology, Religion, Values Education and Professional Education subjects. As the Director of Human Resources Department she is in charge of the various human resource functions for the entire college that includes human resource management, development and administration.  She works with the Vice President for Administration on management decisions relative to personnel and also coordinates all the human resource programs to ensure that the human resource procedures, practices, and decisions are consistent with the goals, policies, and guidelines of the department. Some of her notable researches delivered orally and published are: 1) Needs analysis of Administrators as viable measure towards a Proposed Continuing Professional Development Program -International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research on Oct. 27- 30, 2015 at Quest Hotel Cebu City; 2. Absenteeism and Tardiness to Work among Non- teaching Personnel: Causes and Management Strategies on May 2016 at  Traveller's Hotel, SBMA; 3. Revitalizing Institutional Policy Grounded on Work- Life Balance of Employees in a Catholic Education Institution: A cross-sectional Study published in JPAIR Multidisciplinary Research Volume 29, July 2017 issue. (The official publication of the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc.); 4) The JPAIR Multidisciplinary Research is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, on- line indexed, and cross-referenced publication.

Dominic S. De Guzman

Sir Dom took his AB Philosophy in Saint Francis Major Seminary Lipa City, Theology in Saint Alphosus school of Theoloy, Lucena City and in Maryhill School of Theology in New Manila. He finished his Masters in Religious and Value Education in La Salle University in Manila. He is a huge religious people-person and spent 10 years in the seminary passionate to become priest, but circumstances guided by the grace of God he is sent to respond to the call of God inside the classroom. He started his vocation inside the classroom proclaiming God’s Words of love, healing, forgiveness, guidance (formation), salvation, happiness, and life in La Salle Lipa, Batangas in 1993. He became a part-time faculty campus of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde in 2003 and simultaneously in 2014 he also started teaching in De La Salle University in Manila up to the present as a part-time lecturer in the Theology and Religious Education Department. He is also involved in his parish church’s liturgical, catechetical, outreach services, that is, in the Holy Eucharist Parish Moonwalk Village Paranaque City. He is also connected with PASAMBA Caritas Manila in providing Para-Legal assistance to the less privileged. He loves meeting people and continues to welcome opportunities to further his learning. He feels blessed to be a part of a diverse community of people journeying together to experience the goodness and true happiness in life – a life that is centered in God and love of neighbor.

Mariel A. Abante

Ms. Abante is a full-time college instructor in Sta. Teresa College. In 2006, she graduated Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at St. Bridget College, Batangas City. She took up Master of Arts in Teaching major in English Language at De La Salle University, Manila in 2010. Presently, she is enrolled in the same university, taking up Doctor of Education major in Religious and Values Education. She is currently writing her dissertation paper entitled, "The State of Catechesis in Vicariate 7 of the Archdiocese of Lipa: Towards a Unified Catechetical Program." In 2015, she presented her research paper entitled "Attitude towards Holy Eucharist" during the 4th National Conference in Catechesis and Religious Education held at the De La Salle University Manila.
