The International Association of Mission Studies (IAMS) will hold the Asia Conference with the theme “Global Crisis, Sustainability, and Mission in Scholarship” in partnership with the De La Salle University Department of Theology and Religious Education and Religious Educators Association of the Philippines this coming November 22-24, 2023 at De La Salle University, Manila.
Global crises have affected humanity on various levels. There is an urgent need to address these global crises, which will devastate the Earth’s future if action is not taken. To address this concern, it is essential to take a whole-of-society approach which includes sustainable responses from the missionary perspective.
Our 2023 conference calls for a fresh inquiry into the nature and responsibility of scholarship concerning the past and present global crises and how these problems can be addressed by finding ways to solve these crises for sustainability in light of missiology.
